Apply Link and Criteria Page
When you create a Listing in Rentzap, you’ll automatically get an Apply Link, a unique URL that applicants use to start their application.
That link takes applicants to your Listing Criteria Page, where they can review your criteria and disclosures before they apply.
How It Works
Apply Link: This is the public link you share on your website, in listing ads, or directly with applicants. It’s unique to each listing and connects applicants straight to the correct property and criteria.
Criteria Page: Each Apply Link leads to a live criteria page that’s powered by the details and criteria you’ve set in your Listing Details.
When you update your criteria in Rentzap, it updates instantly everywhere for both your applicants and our processing team.
This ensures that applicants always see the most current requirements and that our processors always apply the correct version when reviewing applications.
Adding Public Disclosures
Your criteria page also includes a section for Public Disclosures, where you can list any additional information you’re required or prefer to share before someone applies.
For example:
In Oregon, you’re required to disclose all applicable fees before accepting an application.
In other states, you may want to include details about deposits, move-in costs, or special rules for pets or occupancy.
Whatever you add here appears directly on your public criteria page and helps ensure full transparency and compliance.
