Application and Listing Statuses
This document outlines the statuses used across applications and listings within the Rentzap platform, including their meanings and how they should be used and interpreted.
🧾 Application Statuses
Application statuses represent where a household's application is in the review and decision-making process. These are visible to internal processors and providers.
Started Applying
A household has started the application but has not submitted it yet.
Submitted Application
All household members have submitted their applications.
Reviewing Application
A processor has initiated a review session.
Requested More Information
The processor requires additional documentation or clarification from the applicant.
Meets Criteria
Rentzap has determined that the household meets the listing’s requirements.
Approved
The provider has formally approved the household.
Denied
The provider has denied the household.
Criteria Not Met
Rentzap has determined that the household does not meet the listing’s requirements.
Withdrawn
The application was voluntarily withdrawn by the applicant.
Abandoned
The application was not completed or the applicant became unresponsive.
Voided
The application is no longer valid (e.g., due to listing status or system removal).
🏠 Listing Statuses
Listing statuses reflect the overall state of a listing — whether it is accepting applications, being reviewed, or has been filled.
Active
The listing is open and accepting new applications.
App in Review
At least one application has been submitted and is under review.
Pending
At least one application has met criteria and is awaiting provider decision.
Closed
The listing is leased or otherwise no longer accepting applications.
